Ok now this doesn't make any since at all. Why is actress Halle Berry Playing the roll of the "Queen of Soul" in a biopic? I know that Halle is an actress that has skills but come on she doesn't sing and she isn't plus sized. The thing that makes this sound even more crazy, is the fact that Halle will be playing Ms. Franklin in her older years. (HUH)
I think that all of these factors are going to make the movie seem unrealistic, Because come on Halle will have to wear a fat suit our gain a lot of weight and then lip sing and wear a lot of make up to make her look older. Aretha has turn down a lot of other opportunities to create a biopic movie of her life, due to the money not being right LOL.
I just think that they could have been more realistic. Even though Jennifer Hudson lost a lot of weight, she would have been a better fit and there were plenty of other actresses that could have played the part. But only time will tell how this movie will go and I can't wait to see the rest of the cast and what else will happen in the movie. Will Denzel be playing the role of Aretha's boyfriend LOL.
