17-year-old Dominique Ramirez is suing the Miss Bexar County Organization for stripping her of the Miss San Antonio title following accusations that she violated her contract and gained too much weight.
Ramirez took the Miss Bexar County Organization to court Tuesday, claiming in a lawsuit that she had been unjustly stripped of her title.
The board claims Dominique violated the terms of her contract, did not attend required events, showed up late to appearances, came to events with her boyfriend and gained weight.
"As a Miss San Antonio reigning queen, she has to live up to our rules and regulations and the standards of our contract," said Linda Woods, the pageant board's spokeswoman.
"She was doing a photo shoot and asked to wear her wardrobe from the competition, but it did not fit her. I told her we need to get you on an exercise program. We need to get ready to compete for Miss Texas, just like any elite athlete," Woods told ABCNews.com.
Its so refreshing to see an organization stick to its guns and hold people accountable for their performance. Domonique Ramirez' sssss only real responsibility was keeping in shape and instead she decided to disrespect everything the crown stands for, by inhaling tacos with extra cheese.
Keeping the crown is a job for god's sake. There are rules, expectations, and most importantly values. And her weight gain is blatant violation. Its disgusting. Look at her armpit? Thats gonna win Miss Texas next month? My fucking ass.
