Against the advice of his attorneys, convicted murderer Isaiah Doyle took the stand in the penalty phase of his trial in Jefferson Parish this morning and promptly told the jury he was guilty of first-degree murder, had no remorse, and wished he could kill the jury.
Doyle, of Harvey, was convicted Thursday of murdering a store clerk during a robbery in Marrero in 2005. The same jury that convicted him of first-degree murder will decide if he should be executed for the crime.
Doyle told the jury that he shot store clerk Hwa Lee four times only because the gun jammed and prevented him shooting her more.
"The only reason she was shot four times is because the gun jammed,'' he said. "Otherwise I would have emptied the gun in her f--- head.''
This guy is the real life O-dog from Menace to Society. Young, black and don't give a fuck.
And the jury wasn't gonna give this guy any breaks anyways. People that look like Isiah Doyle don't get special treatment. I know it, you know it, the jury knows it, and so does Isiah here. He isn't gonna go out like some punk bitch and beg for mercy. Nope this guy would rather be executed than let that jury think they got the best of him. Godspeed Isiah.
PS- Am I the only one who hopes Doyle escapes prison before sentencing and starts picking off the jurors one at a time. Would be entertaining and also serve to show people that judging others is just plain wrong.
