The loved-up couple went for a bike ride along Santa Monica seafront in Los Angeles yesterday with Kate's parents Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell - the first time all four have been spotted out together.
Matt, 32, first met Private Benjamin star Goldie, 64, in July and said beforehand he'd been a nervous wreck at the prospect just three months after he and Kate got together.
On their bikes: Matt and his 'in-laws' took advantage of the Californian weather for a Saturday cycle The Cambridge born star, who grew up in Teignmouth, Devon, said at the time: 'I'm quite nervous. It's embarrassing when you meet someone's family for the first time.'
He added: 'It's a little bit too soon to talk about weddings and stuff. Ask me again in a few months though.'
But he's clearly been given the thumbs up - and now that he's pedalling side by side with Kate's stepdad Kurt, 59, perhaps it's only a matter of time before he pops the question...

Chained together: Kate has been spending as much time as possible with Muse frontman Matt since they hooked up together earlier this year The rockstar hooked up with Kate at California's Coachella music festival in April and they've been virtually inseparable ever since - despite the tricky matter of the Atlantic being between them.
However, Muse are currently on a U.S. tour, meaning the couple can spend plenty of time together again.
Kate, 31, was previously married to another rocker, Black Crowes frontman Chris Robinson.
Matt himself is often listed in polls as one of the greatest guitarists of all time.
She has also been linked to Madonna's ex, baseball player Alex 'A-Rod' Rodriquez, golfer Adam Scott, photographer Darren Ankenman and actor Owen Wilson.

Matt meanwhile has music in his blood. His father, George, was the rhythm guitarist in The Tornados, who were the first British band to top the U.S. as well as the British charts with their 1962 single Telstar.

With Muse, he played to a massive 150,000 people during two gigs at Wembley Stadium last weekend, their last UK dates promoting current album The Resistance.
They kick off their U.S. dates on 22 September in San Diego.
