But Kate Winslet and her new man, British model Louis Dowler, appeared very much together as they took a romantic walk round Madrid yesterday.
The pair strolled hand in hand as they did some sight seeing in the city center accompanied by a translator.
They stopped to admire a street puppeteer who Kate, 34, obviously enjoyed as she took pictures with her phone before putting some change in the tip jar.
Louis, 34, has accompanied Kate to the Spanish capital where she is attending photographer Mario Testino's exhibition launch party.
The Oscar winning actress and the male model met back in July when they were introduced by mutual friends at a party in New York.
Street fun: The couple were joined by a translator as they watched a puppeteer They debuted their relationship earlier this week on the red carpet at the San Sebastian Film Festival where they arrived at the event together and held hands down the carpet.
Kate announced her separation from her husband of seven years, director Sam Mendes back in March.
The couple had a son, Joe,6, together and Kate has a nine-year-old daughter Mia from her first marriage to Jim Threapleton.
