Hitching a ride: Single Chris Brown frolicked with a female friend in the sea at Miami Beach


After scoring the number one single and number one film in America, Chris Brown has been celebrating on the beach in Miami.

The singer was photographed enjoying himself on a jet ski and playing in the sea with friends, including two women.


His day on the beach also gave him the opportunity to show off his chest tattoo, which is made up of a diamond and rose design that runs from shoulder to shoulder around the words 'symphonic love'.

Brown, 21, has several tattoos, including a skull with a halo on it, images of Jesus, a demon and some ninjas. His most recent addition is under his left arm and reads 'FAME' and stands for 'Forgive All My Enemies'.

During his trip to Miami, Brown hosted a night at Lux Miami Beach, where he performed two songs, including his number one single, Deuces.

It marks his first real musical success since he was arrested for assaulting Rihanna in February 2009.

His third album, Graffiti, was released in December 2009 and was his lowest selling CD to date.

Brown tweeted: '#1 single in the country and the #1 movie in the country. Life has turned around for me. I couldn't be more happier. Thanks to the fans.'

The pictures come only a day after Brown's ex-girlfriend Rihanna was pictured on the beach in Hawaii, sporting a temporary tattoo of a pistol on her thigh.
