Model Noemie Lenoir appears to have put the tough last few months behind her as she relaxed on a beach break with a mystery man.

Revealing the enviable figure that made her the poster girl for Marks & Spencer's lingerie, the French model waded out of the sea as she holidayed in Miami.

The 30-year-old model, who will celebrate her 31st birthday in just over a week showed no sign of the turmoil that drove her to attempt to take her life four months ago.

Noemie was seen earlier in the day walking around in a black top and matching jeans, holding on to a copy of the French magazine 'Psycologie'.

And it appears she has finally moved on from the relationship with the father of her five-year-old son Kelyan, footballer Claude Makelele, as she paddled in the water with her companion.

Noemie wore a tiny metallic bikini, showing off her model figure. Last year before the trauma of her suicide bid she had been been linked to 52-year-old rap mogul Russell Simmons.

She and her companion appeared deep in conversation as they cooled out in the Miami surf.

Son Kelyan was not seen with his mother. He lives full-time with his footballer father who plays for Paris Saint-Germain.

Noemie made an alleged suicide attempt in May by taking a lethal mix of pills and alcohol.

She is believed to have taken the near-fatal overdose at Makelele's £1million home before a passer-by discovered her lying in a forest on the outskirts of Paris and she was rushed to hospital.

Friends linked her turmoil to her relationship with multi-millionaire Carl Hirschmann, who is involved in a sex and extortion scandal in Switzerland.

But sources at the time claimed that she tried to take her own life after the footballer ended their relationship for the third time.
