Surprise! Oprah Winfrey sure knows how to do a giveaway... she announced on her show that she would be flying her entire audience on an all expenses paid trip to Australia


Oprah Winfrey promised everyone a special episode for the premiere of her 25th and final season of the Oprah Winfrey Show, and in true Oprah style, she didn't fail to deliver.

The talk show queen is known for giving her audiences generous gifts.

But there's no way they could have guessed what was in store for them in today's episode.

Oprah announced that all 300 members of the audience will be going on an eight-day trip to Sydney, dubbed 'Oprah’s Ultimate Australian Adventure'.


And John Travolta himself will be piloting the plane.

The audience also each received a Motorola Smartphone.

Lucky Oprah experienced Travolta's smooth moves as he danced with her on stage for the first episode of the final season of The Oprah Winfrey Show.

In recently released video, Oprah and Travolta dance hand-in-hand through her stage doors to the song Love Train by the O'Jays.

Dressed in a pinstripe suit and white shirt, Travolta hugs Oprah, who is wearing a very pretty orange skirt and white top.

The actor is just one in a big line-up of stars said to appear on the episode tomorrow.

The 55-year-old announced her decision to end the 25-year show last November.

‘This show has been my life, and I love it enough to know when it’s time to say goodbye,’ she said.

‘Twenty-five years feels right in my bones and it feels right in my spirit. It’s the perfect number. It’s the exact right time.'

Travolta and wife Kelly Preston announced last month that the baby they're expecting is a boy.A representative for 47-year-old Kelly confirmed the news to People magazine.

A friend of the family said: 'This baby is such a healing baby.'

The Pulp Fiction star and Kelly also have a ten-year-old daughter, Ella Bleu.

Their son Jett, 16, suffered a fatal seizure in January 2009 during a family holiday in the Bahamas.

Announcing Miss Preston's pregnancy earlier in the year, the couple said: 'It's impossible to keep a secret - especially one as wonderful as this.

'We want to be the first to share this great news with everyone that we are expecting a new addition to our family.

'We tried for several years, and we didn't think it was going to happen for us. This is a miracle, and we feel blessed.'

After Jett's death last year, Travolta said: 'Jett was the most wonderful son that two parents could ever ask for and lit up the lives of everyone he encountered.

'We have received many messages of condolence from around the world.'

The 25th and final season of The Oprah Winfrey Show will start airing tomorrow (Monday).
