Former Cub Luis Salazar lost eye after being hit in the face with a Foul Ball

Salazar is now a minor league coach with the Atlanta Braves. The incident happened about two weeks ago, after a ball hit by all star catcher Brian McCann hit Salazar in the left eye as he stood in the dugout. And yesterday was his first day back at spring training.
I guess he is starting to lose a step, because the versatile utility man that I knew and loved would have made a barehanded play on the ball and fired it over to Mark Grace at first for the out.
Can you imagine how awkward it is for McCann. He literally caused someone in his organization an eyeball. I mean how do you apologize to that guy..."Hey sorry for hitting that ball in your grillmix, but I didn't mean to, actually you should be paying more attention when your in the dugout. But good to have you back, here's a eye patch to show my sympathy". Im guessing that's how it went down.
