I went to Vancouver . It's the same thing as Ottawa. I've been to Ottawa twice as well. Got passport either next day or within two business days (Alhamdulilah)

I work for company A (Big American company), my EB3 LC and I-140 is approved (PD March 2003). I am in 7th year of my H1b and 2 months ago I got 3 years extension of my H1b visa based on approved LC and I-140.

I got a offer from company B (small American company) and C ( Indian consulting company). I am thinking to join company B they are ready to apply my case in EB2 category but I am not sure about the job security in company B, so I want to apply H1 extension through both Company B and C .

I have two questions:

1) Can I get extension of 3 years from both company B and C based on my EB3 LC and I-140 Approval from Company A.
2) If I join company B now, can I join company C in future incase something wrong goes with company B.

Any help will be highly appreciated.

Your case is prior to me in terms of PD. Almost all my 2004 friends are approved. While I am approved but no cards becoz of biometrics issue...wife's is still pending.

Are you a transfered case too? Did you take any infopass apt etc what did u learn.

I am not sure what more I can do to help move my wife's case...I am one of the extremely rare half approval cases...almost everyone I know of all the dependents got approved with the primary applicant.

I am e-filing for EAD renewal.

Are the following options correct for :

1. Manner of Last Entry into the U.S.: "DA:ADVANCE PAROLE (DISTRICT AUTH)"

Same for
2. Current Immigration Status:"DA:ADVANCE PAROLE (DISTRICT AUTH)"

and for Eligibility Status: "(c)(9) Filed I-485"

Please someone who filed EAD renewal.

You really do not need your labor certificate. You do not need the A# as it is optional. Leave it blank.

You however need to have the 140 petition number. Ask your employer for the number. Tel him you would like to have it for tracking purposes.
Do not leave them blank write none in the Allien#

webm: what is the status of your application ( 485), is your NC, SC or fingurprints all clear. Did you speak to any IO about any update on your case as your PD is current ( 01 Oct).

No i didn't speak to any IO..but FP cleared means the one we go for fingure printing isn't it??

My PD is not current yet..just missed with one day lag..

Cutoff date Oct'01 means they can/will only process apps whose PD's falls On/before Sep31st..

While at J1-visa, my employer applied for H1B for me. After 3-months of no response from uscis, we sent a check for $1000 for 'premium processing'. My H1B was approved 4 days after check was mailed out. A week after approval Uscis 'REFUNDED' the check with a note the 'case was approved in regular process' hence the refund.
You can hope to get the refund and if not write to uscis and they are honest about these things.
