So thousands of angered X Factor voters may find a little pleasure in seeing Cheryl Cole getting taken down a notch or two.
The ITV series judge ended up covered in custard cream at this week's Daily Mirror Pride of Britain Awards in London after receiving a pie to the face
While plenty of enraged Treyc Cohen fans will get a little satisfaction out of seeing Cheryl red faced, it was all in good fun.
The 27-year-old had agreed to the stunt which brought the house down at the Grosvenor Hotel Awards gala and raised £15,000 for charity.
The tasty confection was slammed mercilessly into her face by honouree Cameron Small as she presented him with his award for Littlewoods Young Fundraiser of the Year.
The 12-year-old said he was 'shocked' that the glamorous star volunteered to be humiliated in front of hundreds of her industry peers and Prince Charles, but said she 'was a very good sport.'

The youngster has raised an astounding £95,000 for the Royal Manchester Children's Hospital, and got his chance to take Cheryl down in exchange for a £5000 winning charity bid by former Popstars contestant Darius.
Cheryl's boss Simon Cowell offered another £10,000 after witnessing the stunt.
Host Carol Vorderman asked for a volunteer to take the dessert in the face, and Cheryl, on stage to present the award, stepped up.
A delighted Cameron boasted afterward: 'I threw it hard and it hit her right in the face. Then she put some of it on me.'

Cameron repeated the stunt on Daybreak host Adrian Chiles this morning during an appearance on the breakfast programme.
A giggling Cheryl was spotted after the awards ceremony being whisked off in her car.
The singer had cleaned all traces of make-up and custard cream off her face, and looked delighted with the evening's turn of events as she talked on her phone.
She said of the stunt: '[Cameron] has been so remarkable, getting a little pie on my face is a small price to pay.'

The Daily Mail reported today that Sunday's night's result show proceedings have been exposed as a charade.
Host Dermot O'Leary revealed how Cheryl's apparently agonising decision to not cast a vote to send Treyc Cohen or Katie Waissel home had actually been decided by show bosses during the commercial break.
He disclosed a dramatic stand-off between him and Miss Cole was agreed in advance.
'We thought it might happen before the break when we found out who was in the bottom two,’ he said.

The disclosure puts the episode in a disturbing new light and comes as calls are growing among fans for Miss Cole to be axed from her £1.7million job.
ITV has so far received over 1000 complaints from furious viewers, while watchdog Ofcom has taken over 2000 calls.
A Facebook group has been set up called 'Sack Cheryl Cole From X Factor, and almost 70 per cent of people polled by Mail Online say that the Girls Aloud singer should be axed from the judging panel.
