You can leave your hat on: The naturist cruise is set to take in some of Croatia's most scenic islands
A UK-based tour operator is set to offer holidaymakers the chance to enjoy the natural wonders of Croatia’s Adriatic coast in their birthday suit after launching a nudist cruise.
Specialist cruise company eWaterways is set to offer eight-day excursions along the Croatian coast taking in some of the country’s most spectacular islands.
The intimate cruise, which has space for 22 budding naturists costs £500 per person and is set to launch in August 2011.
Among the highlights of the eight-day voyage are visits to Rab, which is known as Croatia’s ‘love island’ and Zadar, as well as a number of ‘morning dips’ before breakfast at several of the islands along the Dalmation coast.
Passengers can also relax at the intimate bar, sun deck and small restaurant while on board - though meals will be served fully clothed.
A spokeswoman for the company told the Telegraph: 'Naturist holidays are popular and Croatia has a lot of nudist beaches – so it’s a great match.
'Passengers will get undressed for swimming and sunbathing, but will be clothed for dinner.'
eWaterways added that it expected a large uptake from German holidaymakers who are ‘really into naturism’, as well as people over 40.
