Batman Was The Blackest Of All White Superheros

I always identified more w/ Batman.


He seemed Blacker than the rest even if he was technically white. [Luckily for me I won't let a little thing called facts interfere with this post]

He was almost like Bill Clinton or RFK that way. Batman had all the swagger Superman & Spiderman never did. Even his alter ego, Bruce Wayne, was gullier than Peter Parker & Clark Kent. You could imagine a younger Bruce giving nerdy ass Peter parker a swirly or taking his cupcakes or Bruce leaving the club with Lois Lane on some 'Don't bring your girl to the club if you want to leave with her, dog' shit.

Batman was the introverted, superhero split down the middle. Stuck between two words, similar to the African-American experience. He wasn't mainstream w/ his at all. Batman was underground. Not to say he wasn't heavy in the streets. Niggas knew not to fuck with him but Batman was more comfortable in the cave than at the mall.

Lastly, Spiderman got around on web, Superman got around with a cape and Batman got around in the Batmobile. You tell me whose most baller? And theme music, please! Don't even go there. Superman had that old school, standard brass band from the 40's, Spiderman didn't even have theme music, he's a fucking spider! A Spider's soundtrack is the sound of a size 12 Timberland stomping his ass against the hardwood. Batman though? Batman had Prince providing his soundtrack.

So there you have it. Incentive from the black community and a personal cosign from me, THS of hisaurawasorange campaigning on behalf of all real niggas everywhere to go see The Dark Knight this weekend. It really promises to be a decent movie. Not that anyone is or should be on the fence about seeing this flick as the buzz for it has been deafening leading up to this week. But go see it, support one of your own. Batman was black to me, damnit!

A Wonderful Mother's Day Story

Apparently the 'Soulja Girl' chick from the now infamous Youtube Atlanta subway clip is being told YAAAAAAAAAAAH BITCH YAAAAAAAAAAA by the police. LOL

For the benefit of people who haven't seen the video let me source it first. This is embarrassing to watch and infuriating and I'm only posting it for the purposes of news.



Ok now that we've for that little ugly business out the way here's the update.

Yesterday Nafiza Z aka “Soulja Girl” was arrested in Atlanta for disorderly conduct on a train in which she disrespected an elderly woman by screaming obscenities in her face and taunting the woman while singing a rap by Soulja Boy. The incident was captured on a cell phone video and placed on YouTube where it went viral from there. The video drew mass disgust from the public.

“The 25-year-old woman who was videotaped verbally abusing a senior citizen on a Marta train is in custody in the DeKalb County jail charged with disorderly conduct.

Soulja Girl’s sister and baby daddy called into the Ryan Cameron Show on V-103 today. Soulja Girl’s sister told Ryan that her sister was diagnosed with bipolar disorder 5 years ago and the incident on the train was the result of her sister not taking her meds.

She said Soulja Girl was turned into police by their mother yesterday and she is being held on $300 bail.”

I'm a compassionate person and I'm usually very understanding in most sensible matters of justice but I hope she's punished to the fullest extent of the law. The fact that an elderly lady was the victim of such nonsense just for riding the damned train is astounding. This is an old lady that could have been your grandmother or someone close to you that you know and love and for her to have been on the wrong side of an unwarranted of a Youtube moment pisses me of. Public transportation is largely unavoidable in major cities, Atlanta being one of them, and it's rough enough with the thieves and bottom-feeders that prey on people everyday without this kind of junk to add to it. This woman ought to be made an example of. I just know the punishment won't be near big enough to fit the crime sadly.

If that was my grandmother/mother there would have been problems for that woman. If that was even a casual acquantance of my mother/grandmother that this happened to, I would have ended up cranking an asswhooping on this chick.

I'm happy this was resolved and she will stand responsible by the court.

He's So Articulate...

For the record I rarely ever, if at all, jump to the conclusion that the white person who says this to or about a black person is bigoted. I just think people who say this as a compliment are just clueless. What type of protruding forehead blank-faced idiots do you associate yourself with that this person is especially articulate in comparison? Do you and your friends talk in charades and act out every thought you have like mimes because words escape you? Do you and these simpletons walk around with sticks and drag sandboxes everywhere you go so you can draw out everything you think?

That's the only objectionable thing I can see as far as that half-compliment. Nothing racial about it, just demeaning. It means you've surpassed some alarmingly low litmus test of intelligence.

I'm Just Saying...

For the record, I'm a Catholic.

I don't go to church every Sunday but I come through on all the Holy Days of Obligation.

I'd like to think me and God hold each other down when shit gets real. At least I know he's held up his end of the bargain. Lord only knows what I would do if they caught me on a tape in Iraq and I was captured on my knees (n/h) with the threat of beheading.

But all that aside, I think I liked Pope John Paul II way more than I like Pope Benedict XVI. [Quick Story John Paul II was shot back in the 80's, recovered, met with the guy that shot him, visited him in prison many times, ultimately forgives him but told him that while he personally forgave him and embraced him, that he must be punished for his sins and should face his prison term as part of his repentance. But that was the measure of the character of that man. No diss records, no "Hit 'Em Up verses" just love, even for those who would do harm to him. I had love for him. No joke]

Aside from this new pope taking more strong conservative stances than his predecessor, he just don't look like a nigga I would roll with.


He comes from a weird background with old Nazi ties. His eyes look like they're hiding something from people and if it all went down in the streets he doesn't look like he'd have your back. He look like he'd straight Pachanga you [Carlito's Way].

In every picture I've seen of him he looks like he's steadily plotting on someone's downfall.

From what I do know he's at least been guilty of wholesale coverups worldwide for more than a little while everytime a priest has been caught fucking little boys. I speak frank as you'll learn around here. Probably franker than you might be used to reading and I don't mean to demean any fellow Catholic brothers and sisters I may have reading this. I'm one of you. I'm proud of my faith. It's got me through many many tough times and will continue to do so but if you can tell me with a straight face that this guy looks normal or theirs someone in your crew or family or life that you know that looks anything like him than you need to re-evaluate your life.

Benedict has been in power for 2 years now and I remember when he was first named the new pope. I was hoping that the brother from Africa would be the new pope (surprise surprise) but when I saw it was his mug that emerged from the shadows I thought to myself 'I'm not really getting a good vibe from this guy but I'll give him a chance and see if he grows on me'. Well it's 2008 and he hasn't. You tell me if I'm wrong. He looks like he's pulling for Hillary. LOL.

What Hillary and her surrogates and flunky losers are doing is tantamount to what this scene depicts. They're stepping all over the good dope the Democratic Party espouses and labeling it under the umbrella "Progressive". I've got a problem with that. In the most latest incident last week, Geraldine Ferraro, the first female vice presidential candidate and a fundraiser for Hillary Rodham Clinton inferred Democrat Barack Obama only achieved his status in this presidential campaign because he's black. "If Obama was a white man, he would not be in this position," Geraldine Ferraro told the Daily Breeze of Torrance, Calif., in an interview published last Friday. "And if he was a woman (of any color) he would not be in this position. He happens to be very lucky to be who he is. And the country is caught up in the concept."

Ummmm, no.

She of all people should know that sticking out from the pack and not looking like everyone else works counter progressive towards the ends one is trying to achieve most times in life. To the point of her statement, I don't doubt there is a certain block that is voting for Barack because they favor the narrative of America overcoming her historical prejudices and actually electing it's first African-American president. No doubt about that. I'll concede that point, but you want to tell me that there isn't a sizable population that still permeates in society that could never bring itself to even consider Mr. Obama, for all his excellent foresight, credentials, soaring oratory, intelligence and capability simply for that same reason -- that he happens to look more like me than them? There's no imperial data or evidence to prove either way which one of those groups is larger and more prevalent in this voting cycle so I'll stop just short of offering my guess but it seems to me the fact that this is even being brought up means we've lost as a party and that being liberal means something far more different to me then older more quote en quote "seasoned and experienced" Democrats. Then again, what do you expect? I mean you can go down the list of the Clinton campaigns greatest hits and see familiar tunes equally as offensive or worse:

• The suggestion that Barack Obama was part of a drug ring earlier in life by Robert "I created BET to appeal to black people's worse instincts and pigeonhole and poison the outlook of black youth" Johnson
  
• The suggestion that Barack Obama parties, rolls with, gets down with, is in bed with "slum lords" in Chicago - Hillary
• Barack Obama is Jesse Jackson - Bill Clinton
• The non-confirmation/opinion, maybe-he-is-maybe-he-isn't, statement by Hillary on 60 Minutes a few weeks back about whether Barack was a Muslim
• The mysterious pictures that have been attributed to the Clinton Campaign that show Barack dressed in traditional attire of the African country he visited in 2006 that surfaced last month.

The list goes on and on, trust me...

These are not the hallmarks of real liberals. These are Republican/Karl Rovian style insults and xenophobic smears.

This is not the party that's supposed to be on the same side of the street with people that would hurl this kind of an attack. I would expect this from Rush Limbaugh or Bill O'Reilly; I wouldn't bat an eyelash if I saw this on TV from Ann Coulter, but from The Clintons? The Clintons that have been the standard bearers of the party for which I have stood up for since I was in high school? What's worse is that this kind of behavior may ultimately end up being rewarded by giving the nomination of the Democratic Party to one Hillary Clinton , cementing in my estimation and the minds of thousands of like-minded cynics, that the two major parties of the United States have no real underlining substantive difference between them. Moreover this should and probably will result in the death of whatever resurgence or peaked interest they might have been enjoying recently as a result of the RNC's near decade long streak of mismanagement, incompetence, and fouled up execution.

This is weak. Real weak. And if weakness is going to be the mascot of the Democratic Party in November and not just a riff conservative commentators echo about us in public then I'm done with it.

Ain't Nothing Worse..

There's nearly nothing worse than a hot bank teller unless you've got money. It's the least advantageous thing in the world for young, broke, otherwise spirited women-seekers.
You're smiling at her curves and frame and beauty and it might appear she's returning the gesture if you're not paying too much attention and if you follow her with your eyes as she turns the corner to grab more check slips and checkbooks from the back room you'll notice she's laughing her ass off at the $ 113.74 that you're so confidently throwing at the bank like you're doing something. Sadface @ that scene. :( indeed.

Truth be told, behind her professional look, what's hiding beyond the grown up bun, emitting maturity and sophistication, the tight hugging professional dress and secretary pumps and standard teller button up shirt, is a broke ass person too! It's the reverse Superman/Clark Kent. She's far less impressive than she looks. Bank tellers don't make but $2/hr too! Don't be fooled. Don't believe me? Loot it up. What y'all need to do is go find 3 other broke people with mood rings, combine them together and call upon Captain Planet with your broke asses. Or at least put your pennies together to buy something worth a shit. That's all you can do. LOL
