Option 1 (epassporphoto) is good. I have used it more then once for US as well as UK visa (also my daughter's Indian Passport)

    Just a few tips --

    Make sure
    1) you take the photo under Fluoroscent (tube) light or outdoor.
    2) there is not too much shadow behind
    3) the background is white (or something very light)
    4) if you wear glasses, remove those
    5) your face should be straight (both ears should be visible)

The reason that your code is not working is that e.Key only references the most recently pressed key, so it can't be equal to 3 different keys at once.

If nothing else, couldn't you maintain a list/array of the currently pressed keys? You could update the list with handlers for KeyUps and KeyDowns and figure out whether a certain combination of keys was pressed by iterating through the array. I'm not sure if there is built-in functionality to do this, but it would be easy enough to implement.

I am sorry to ask...If H1B doesn't have I-94 attatched to it and it was approved when my friend was in india, he can work on L1. My question is, if he moves out of country and get H1B stamped, can he work on L1?

As it is not a change of status. If he gets it stamped on his passport and enters the county on H1B. YES he can. I strongly recommend to get his visa stamped in India until unless he has a US degree.

Thank you for the advice. One more question. After I fill this form , the employer should keep it for their records only. Correct? No need to send it to anyone.

    Hello Friends,
I think many Indians might have faced this issue. We can spell same Indian name in several ways in English.
I have one friend who is ready to file I -485.
He found following issues with Birth certificate. Does USCIS rejects or REF I-485 for following reason ?
    1) His mothers name spelled differently in his Birth Certificate. (One letter is missing)
    2) His wife's Birth Affidavit has different spelling for Fathers name. (One letter is different)
    3) Is first name enought in Birth Certificate or it needs full name ?

Keep on good work of helping each other.

First of all, let me begin by congratulating the IV core team and other members on staging a dignified protest to the entire July VB fiasco!

I have a question regarding the medical exam for the AOS. The civil surgeon I went to did not do a TB skin test and instead took an x-ray to verify no signs of TB. Has anyone else had the same experience, i.e. no skin test, x-ray only?

The other strange thing he told me was that some of his patients send the x-ray as part of the 485 application. Has any1 else heard of anything like this?

Last I checked, the USCIS did not employ medical personnel, but then what do I know?

Any input from fellow IV members is greatly appreciated.
Thanks and good luck to all.

Labor as such is not for a specific person (although you have to provide individual details for filing it), it is essentially for justifying a position within the company, so it's more company related than individual. Hence, USCIS allows transfers of labors as it is not bound to the individual for whom it was applied.

U.S. companies are also clamoring for more H1B visas to allow foreign software engineers and other skilled workers into the country.

The 65,000 visas allotted for 2007 were taken by the end of May last year, months before the end of the fiscal year in September, said Jack Krumholtz, the head of Microsoft Corp.'s government affairs office. It is also difficult to get permanent U.S. residency for foreign workers who would like to stay, he said.

"This is becoming for high-tech companies a huge retention issue," Krumholtz said. "We will start to see highly valued tech employees emigrate back to their home countries."

Does the employer pay or we have to shell out our own. Also does the 1010 include the spouse also or we have to pay additional 1010.

$1010 is per person. It includes I-131 and I-765 (whether you want AP and EAD or not, you need to pay $1010).

Employer does not have to pay I-485.

Jennifer Aniston keeps it short and sweet as she promotes new movie in lacy LBD

    By DAILY MAIL REPORTER

Perfect pins: Jennifer Aniston arrives at The Daily Show with Jon Stewart in New York City today to promote her movie Horrible Bosses

Jennifer Aniston certainly knows how to promote a movie.

In recent weeks, the actress has set tongues wagging with a new man and a new tattoo.

And having alluded to her 'very happy' personal life with Justin Theroux in an interview on GMA this morning, the 42-year-old actress wasted no time in keeping herself in the spotlight - by stepping on in a very sexy LBD.

Jen put her incredible legs on show in the lacy number as she arrived to tape an interview on the The Daily Show with Jon Stewart.

Earlier in the day the former Friends star played it casual in jeans as she made her way between interviews in the Big Apple promoting her new movie Horrible Bosses, ahead of the U.S. premiere on Thursday.

Talking on today's Good Morning America, Jennifer alluded to her new body art, a tattoo of her dog Norman's name who passed away recently, saying: 'I wouldn't say I'm squeaky clean in any way.'

Fine form: The actress put her killer legs on show in a short lacy LBD which she teamed with peep-toe heels

She also spoke on the show of her new relationship with 39-year-old actor Theroux for the first time - though she declined to actually name her beau.

Appearing on the breakfast show to plug Horrible Bosses, in which she plays a kinky dentist, she said she was 'very happy' in her personal life, and added: 'I'm extremely lucky and extremely happy.'

Before passing away at the age of 15, Jen's dog Norman had regularly accompanied Aniston to film studios and her former Friends set.

Girl next door: Earlier in the day a smiling Aniston was spotted sporting a more casual look in jeans and a black top

She had said in the past: ‘Norman goes with me on location – I’ve got to take Norman. He’s my baby boy.’

And the pair were pictured together on many occasions, from going for walks on the beach, attending photo shoots together and going on holiday.

Aniston confirmed that the tattoo was a tribute to her pooch while talking to James Lipton during a taping of Inside the Actors Studio, People reported.

The star's first inking has also sparked speculation that she might have been influenced to get the etching by her new edgy boyfriend Justin - who is heavily tattooed.

Lucky girl: Jennifer said she very happy and 'extremely happy' in her personal life when asked questions about new boyfriend, Justin Theroux on Good Morning American today

Happy: The star was talking about her new love on the show as she chatted to Lara Spencer

And Jennifer's representative has confirmed to Life & Style that the star has indeed taken the plunge.

It's quite a departure for the wholesome star, who has only worn a temporary tattoo of a heart on her stomach in the past, and that was to play the kooky titular lead in Along Came Polly.

A tattoo of any sort, in fact, seems quite incongruous to her classic style and is more associated with Angelina Jolie.

But her new boyfriend is heavily tattooed, one of his tattoos reads 'Odi et Amo,' which translates to 'I hate and I love.'

It's getting serious! Jennifer Aniston is spotted with new man Justin Theroux after taping an interview for Inside The Actor's Studio in New York, last night

Their relationship is only a mere few weeks old, but this is just the latest sign that things are becoming very serious between the pair.

The Friends alumni brought Justin along with her for moral support as she taped the interview with James Lipton for Bravo series, Inside The Actor's Studio, last week.

The couple were spotted standing side-by-side as they made their way out of the Pace University in New York, where the actress' appearance on the show was being filmed.
Once again the couple tried to avoid getting snapped together, by leaving the building separately.

Jennifer's new film Horrible Bosses, which also stars Jason Sudeikis, Jason Bateman and Charlie Day, is released in the U.S. on 8 July and in the UK on 22 July

Companion: The actress regularly took Norman to her film sets and the set of Friends when it was running

Pet pooch: Norman (right) past away last month and Jen inked his name on the inside of her foot

Dripping jewellery, daring outfits and Wimbledon's biggest entourage: But Venus and Serena Williams are dumped out of Wimbledon in shock fourth-round

    By DAILY MAIL REPORTER

Not this year: Both the Williams sisters - Wimbledon's greatest ladies' singles champions - have been knocked out before reaching the quarter final stage.

One took to the court dripping with jewellery, the other wore a daring outfit, and together they had the biggest entourage at Wimbledon.

But nothing could stop the end of an era at SW19 as both Venus and Serena Williams were dumped out of the championship in straight sets on only its seventh day.

For 11 years the Williams sisters have dominated Wimbledon, notching up nine singles titles between them. Both going out in the fourth round is their worst-ever result.

Serena, 29, was thrashed by Frenchwoman Marion Bartoli. And for 31-year-old Venus, history repeated itself as she was beaten by Tsvetana Pironkova, the beautiful young Bulgarian.

Miss Pironkova, 23, created last year's biggest upset when she defeated Venus at the same stage, and was charmingly modest about her achievement, admitting that even she was surprised. This year, however, was different.

Sportsmanship: Marion Bartoli of France, right, shakes hands with Serena Williams of the U.S. after defeating her at the Wimbledon tennis championships

The willowy brunette took charge from the start and by the time Kate and Wills returned to the Royal Box after a quick bite (apparently they were too late arriving at SW19 for a full three-course lunch), Venus was already a set down.

The royal couple had the temerity to retake their seats during her service game and merited a fearsome glare from the five-times champion.
But shortly afterwards it was all over.

Wimbledon's queen of bling: Serena sported these chunky pieces of jewellery during her fourth round clash

Glamour: The sparkle on Serena's nail polish was matched only by the sparkle on her bracelet

The Centre Court crowd applauded Venus but an hour previously when her sister's result had flashed up there was loud cheering – they do not warm to Serena here.

Venus admitted they were both upset. She sniffed: 'No, definitely not our best day. Obviously it's not something planned. We rarely lose on the same day.'

And when she was reminded of the last time that happened, at the French Open in 2008, the full force of her sarcasm was unleashed.

'Thank you,' she said. 'Great to remember all these losses, right?'

Serena was asked if maybe it was a good thing for women's tennis that she had been knocked out this year.

'Yeah, I'm super happy that I lost,' she drawled. 'Go, women's tennis.'
It was the earliest exit for the four-time All England Club winner since a third-round loss in 2005.

But despite the loss, and despite the presence of royal spectators, Serena kept her crown as Wimbledon's queen of bling.

She played in huge dangling earrings, a knuckle-duster ring, a handcuff-style bracelet – and a pendant proving just how much of a star she is.

Showing the strain: Venus Williams returns a shot during her fourth round match against Tsvetana Pironkova of Bulgaria

Five-time champion Venus was playing only her second tournament since withdrawing from the Australian Open with a hip injury and she was well short of her best today.

The repeat of last year's quarter-final resulted in an identical outcome as the highly-impressive Pironkova, 23, made light work of the fourth-round match.

Venus, who has reached at least the quarter-finals on 11 of her 14 previous visits to Wimbledon, struggled to find her range and was frequently foiled by the net.

Younger sister Serena's bid to complete a hat-trick of Wimbledon titles came to an abrupt end at the hands of French ninth seed Bartoli

The effects of a challenging year in which Serena has been restricted to less than three weeks of action due to injury and serious illness finally caught up her.

Foiled by the net: Venus looked rusty after a year in which she has hardly lifted her racket in competition

Serena looked rusty as her gutsy passage through the Wimbledon draw came to a shuddering halt in the fourth-round clash on Court One, Bartoli winning 6-3 7-6 (8/6).

Frequently her accuracy deserted her as she scooped a series of shots out of play, often because she had connected with the ball poorly.

The American's defeat means this is only the third year that the defending champion has failed to make the quarter-finals in the open era.

Fighting spirit enabled Williams to trade blows with Bartoli in an impossibly tight second set, but she was striving to stay on terms rather than dominating.

Entourage: Serena's loss came despite her bringing along the biggest entourage of any player this year

Top row: 1 Val Vogt (Serena’s PA), 2 Esther Lee (trainer), 3 family friend, 4 Sasha Bajin (Serena’s hitting partner), 5 Jessica Baron (Venus’s PA).
Middle row: 6 Richard Williams (father), 7 Lakeisha Williams (Richard’s wife), 8-9 nephew and niece (children of murdered sister Yetunde), 10 family friend.
Front row: 11 Jill Smoller (Serena’s agent), 12 Suzanne Pond (Nike representative), 13 Isha Price (sister), 14 Oracene Price (mother).

Bartoli was superb, playing with confidence, passion and poise to seal her first victory over the American in three contests.

It is the first time since 2006 that neither sister has reached the Wimbledon quarter-finals.

Together they have taken home the 'Venus Rosewater Dish', the Wimbledon ladies' singles trophy, nine times since 2000.
