This video is 3 minutes long and I dont really give a shit about hockey, but it is pretty entertaining.  Mark Owuya is now 21 years old and a goalie on the Maple Leafs, but before that he was just a young rapper/singer (well before Drake came out) auditioning for Swedish Idol.  The American equivalent is if the Pants on the Ground guy got singed by an NFL team.  Im thinking Oakland would be a nice fit.

In the big news of the weekend

Fast and Furious 5 made 83 million at the box office.  The largest opening weekend ever for Universal.  It blew my mind too.  I'll be the first to admit I watch these movies on dvd or HBO, and that I am a Paul Walker fan.  Say what you will about his range as an actor but he is still around and gets to just play himself in every movie he gets.  Here are some highlights of Walker quotes.  If it you did not tell me where these quotes are from, I'd have guessed they were Hansel's lines from Zoolander 2.

He starts every day with 2 hours of Brazilian jujitsu at a studio near his modest Santa Barbara home, then follows up with an hour of Muay Thai kickboxing. They've been jet-setting around the world promoting their new film over recent weeks, but Robert Pattinson looked like he'd rather be somewhere else last night as he posed with Reese Witherspoon in Barcelona.

The on-screen lovers were celebrating the Spanish premiere of Water For Elephants but as they stood arm in arm together on the red carpet, R-Patz couldn't crack a smile.

Pattinson held Reese around the small of her back but their affection looked more awkward than anything else.

After having promoted the film in Paris the day before in a little red dress, Reese slipped on a knee-length black strapless LBD and matching heels for last night’s viewing.

While the Twilight saga star looked smart in a grey suit and unbuttoned blue shirt alongside his trademark dishevelled hair.

Both stars then took a break from posing, before entering the cinema, to sign autographs for fans.

Earlier in the day Reese had still been in France and was taking advantage of the Parisian shopping district by perusing the stores with her bodyguard.

The 35-year-old tried to dress incognito in skin-tight jeans and a denim shirt but was still recognised by onlookers.

NBA stuff

Memphis upset OKC at home despite good games from Durant and Westbook.  Bizarro Zach Randolph continues to be a beast while maintaining a a new level of maturity and level of composure.  He is like 13 year old that just got put on Ritalin and becomes a model student.  All I know is eventually the pills stop working or he forgets to take them and all hell breaks loose.  I am hoping this happens in some sort of scuffle with Kendrick Perkins and turns into the best playoff fight of all time. 


Dwayne Wade was sick in dropping 38 on Celtics after averaging just 12 against them in the regular season.  As much as I hate Boston I really don't want to see the Bulls play Miami, but it feels really weird to root for Boston.  The Paul Pierce ejection is getting a lot of play and speculation on what he may have said to Wade that required an ejection.  I don't think he said shit, I just think the ref called the double technical cause they both got face to face, and it was Pierce's 2nd T so he got bounced. 

I was hungover as shit yesterday so I started drinking for the basketball games.  I feel even worse today, but there is the Bulls game on tonight so I assume beers are in my future again.  So I may be mailing it in the next 2 days.  But on the bright side, how awesome is that picture of Randolph.

She recently said she was planning to lose weight for her wedding by 'dancing around her bedroom'.

But it seems Jessica Simpson is also exploring other ways to shed the pounds before she marries fiancé Eric Johnson.

The 30-year-old singer was seen enjoying a tandem bike ride with Johnson and a group of friends as they pedalled their way along the Venice boardwalk.

Jessica's weight has sparked a lot of debate over the years. She stunned fans when she stepped out at the MTV Movie Awards in 2005 looked thinner than ever after losing weight for her role as Daisy Duke in The Dukes of Hazzard.

But Jessica failed to maintain the 36-24-36 figure she worked so hard to achieve, and started steadily piling weight back on.

Now, however, Jessica is determined to be in the best shape ever for her nuptials, and is trying to 'hopefully lose some weight' ahead of her big day.

Asked if she was going to be embarking on a proper diet and exercise regime before the wedding, Jessica replied: 'No exercise is fun! I am going to dance around my bedroom and hopefully lose some weight - and lift some weights and do what I can!'

Modest Marvin: JLS singer covers his man cleavage for night out with Rochelle

Under wraps: Marvin Humes kept his man cleavage covered for once as he enjoyed a night at Shoreditch house with girlfriend Rochelle Wiseman yesterday


He is regularly spotted with his man cleavage on show whatever the weather so it was strange to see Marvin Humes covered up his chest last night.

The JLS singer stepped out with his 'he-vage' under wraps in a coral and white striped vest and a light denim shirt as he arrived at Shoreditch House with girlfriend Rochelle Wiseman last night.

The couple arrived at the East London venue and certainly seemed to be enjoying the themselves and were seen laughing and joking away as they made their way from the nightclub.


And while Marvin was sporting a new look and keeping things covered Rochelle had clearly put her wardrobe nightmare behind her and was looking very pretty as she left the London hot spot.

She had complained to that she was having a wardrobe nightmare earlier in the evening but as she headed off for the night out she was seen wearing the most important thing of all – a huge grin.

Rochelle had told her Twitter followers that she was having a wardrobe crisis before she had headed out but settled on a short black asymmetrical dress for their evening out adding a flash of colour showing off her pink bra strap.

The Saturdays singer opted for a flash of bright red lipstick and stepped out in a pair of pink polka dot heels with a red sole.

The couple were joined by friends including Sugababes singer Amelle Berrabah and as they arrived at the venue for the Pooldisco Royale party and were seen bypassing the long queue of people waiting outside and were let straight into the venue.

It was the second night out in a row for Rochelle, who was clearly making the most of the long weekend, who had been out for a drink with her friends on Saturday evening.

The girls latest single Notorious is due to hit radios from next month.

They’ve been working with producers Tim Deal, Carl Falk and hitmaker Rami Yacoub, who’s worked with stars such as Britney Spears on Oops! I Did It Again, Crazy and Baby One More Time.
