Bears quarterback Jay Cutler got engaged to reality TV starlet Kristin Cavallari this past weekend while on vacation in Mexico, People.com reports. Cavallari, who starred on MTV’s “Laguna Beach” and “The Hills,” has been dating the beleaguered quarterback since last fall.
People confirmed the news, first reported Monday evening by blogger Perez Hilton, with a source close to the couple.
Cutler, 27, and Cavallari, 24, were in Cabo San Lucas when the QB popped the question.
I guess the real surprise is he started and finished the proposal. Also surprising, Jay Cuts cares enough about anything to put forth the effort it takes to propose. I would not be surprised if someone told him he should propose, and he goes, "brah really?", then sent someone out for a ring and proposed that night. Usually fan bases get upset when their star player is caught up with a famous chick. But most star players are good and only have down to go if their bird becomes a distraction. I am not too worried about Cutler and his 86 QB rating. There is a chance he gets better, I guess. I guess I should not throw stones when I live in a glass house. I am simply passing the time without an ounce of dedication as well. I guess I could say I guess and whatever more often, I think people like that.
