(Name of show 'Hillbilly Hand Fishing... I can't make this up)
Animal planet is joining history and discovery channels among others who have jumped on reality shows based on white trash people doing something or other.
Now I personally have not gotten with gold rush, or pawn stars but they seem to be popular. And I have long liked documentaries about hillbillies, so i have seen "Okie Noodling", which is a pretty comical documentary about hicks fishing for catfish with their hands.
I assume it was the inspiration for this new show, so I'll probably give this show a chance. Something that was interesting from 'Okie Noodling', these geniuses sometimes drown because they get their hands stuck in rocks while under water. Also they often get in fights arguing over the finer points of the purest way to catch a catfish with your hand as bait.
So basically if rednecks are drowning and fighting count me in. Some call me a tv elitist, but if the shoe fits.
